As we approach Fourth of July, we thought we’d revisit last year’s party to give you some decorating ideas!  Check out the recipes on Taste the Fairytale.

Our guest table decorations were very simple. We used red and blue bandanas as table runners, spray painted tin cans to look like a flag, filled them with flowers and an American flag. Easy but fun!

We have a garden house on our property and used that as the backdrop for the party.

 The menu included barbecue pork sandwiches, hot dogs, baked beans, macaroni salad, marinated vegetable medley and chips and dip. Traditional Fourth of July fare, but delicious!

For dessert, we all enjoyed a fantastic cake decked out as an American Flag, patriotic sugar cookies and thumbprint cookies, brownies and chocolate covered pretzels.

At the den, we believe in decorating every corner for our parties!
